Getting Started with Sabinal
You can be assured that every client is important to us, regardless of account size. Accounts can run from a minimu of one hundred thousand dollars to several million dollars.
We charge a simple quarterly fee that is an all inclusive, "wrap" fee. You do not have to pay for trading fees. Trading fees are included in our wrap fee. We do not charge for individual advice, but we limit our advice to any assistance needed to move existing equities in to your Sabinal account(s). We will help you manage those existing equities to cash so that cash can be put to work in one or more of our portfolios.
How you get started with Sabinal as a managed account client:
- First, we will need to get to know you and your financial situation. Our style of investing and managed account portfolios are not for everyone. Only after we have reviewed your financial condition, mindset for investing in the stock market, risk tolerance and our determination of your suitability for one or more of our portfolios, will you be permitted to open a managed account with our firm.
- Assuming you qualify, you will be required to sign some authorization forms and other documents that give us the right to make trades in your account and extract fees on a monthly basis. These forms will be provided to you by our staff.
- Next, you will open one account for each portfolio that you want to follow.
- After you have funded the account(s), we will begin managing your portfolio to get it in sync with our master portfolio as quickly as possible. If we have a position that we have held for a while and it has built up any appreciable unrealized gains, we likely will not put you in that trade. In most cases, you will see trades in your account only as we make new trades and initiate new positions.
- You will receive the trade confirmation for every trade we make in your account. You will never be surprised by what is in your account. You have 24x7 access to your account via the Internet. Remember… the money in your account is your money. We can only trade it and withdraw specifically defined fees. We cannot, in any other way, touch your money or your securities. Important: You can stop or start our ability to trade in your account at any time with or without notice to Sabinal.
